Basketball
The Bayou Area Basketball Association "BABA", was formed in the Fall of 2014 with 60 participants. It has grown to seasons topping 200 area children playing in the league. All games are played at the Bayou La Batre Community Center. There is no "travel" for games in this sport.
The Spring/ Summer season begins with registration in the month of April. Registration can be completed by clicking the link below. Evaluations are normally held on the first weekend of May. The Spring/Summer season usually begins on the second or third Saturday in May with Championship Day held on the last Saturday of June. Games are played each Saturday. There is one practice session per team, per week. Please register early as this is the most active basketball session.
