2014 Bayou La Batre Public Library Summer Reading Program

It's that time of year again when we anticipate the Summer Reading Program!

We have an exciting lineup for you!
This year the program will be held every Wednesday in June starting at 9:30 am!
Programs will last until 11 am.
A parent or guardian is required to stay with the child(ren) during the duration of the program. 

JUNE 4th
GULF COAST EXPLOREUM
Members of the Science Squad will perform an array of experiments ranging over vast topicalities of science such as chemical reactions, Bernoulli's Principle, Vortexes, starting out small and going LARGE! It's guaranteed to be an BANG UP success!

JUNE 11th
RONALD McDONALD and FIRE DEPARTMENT
Come hear Ronald McDonald tell a story or two and then learn fire safety in the form of a puppet show!

June 18th
MOBILE DAIRY CLASSROOM
The Mobile Dairy Classroom is a dynamic and fun educational program operated by the Agricultural Commodity Commission for Milk. The 30ft. Mobile Dairy Classroom features a fully operational milking parlor containing a live cow used for milking and feeding demonstrations. 

June 25th
COWBOY DAY
Come kick up your heels and help the library roundup the end of the Summer Reading Program with a grand ol' time! YEEHAW!

Each week every attending child will receive a free book, crafts a snack and juice courtesy of Goodwill Easter Seals.
